If you ask me when did I first become interested in art, I would say that it all started when I picked up my first pencil on the Caribbean island of St Vincent. When I first started school and learned to write my alphabet, I would write an illuminated single letter on each page of my writing book, which I got in trouble for. My first ever oil painting was done on a small bit of card I had torn from an empty cornflakes packet.
While attending secondary school in London my passion for art grew and this was encouraged by my art teachers.

| I undertook formal training in the Fine Arts at the London Guildhall University where I developed a specialised technique in abstract oil paintings. I am also a trained graphic designer and worked in the music industry for 20 years producing record sleeves, posters and magazines part of this time running my own graphic studio.
Over the years my passion for art has grown. Inspired by nature and people, I also love the effect of light and dark. I'm learning all the time, trying to improve my work and hoping to evoke something in the viewer. My work is vibrant and diverse using various different media such as pencils, charcoal, pastels, oils, water colour and stipple-dot drawings.
